Question : My eyes water continuously and have for many years, but seems to be getting worse to the point where it affects my vision because i must wipe them continually. is there something i can do to stop this annoyance
Brief Answer:
Your nasolacrymal ducts seem blocked.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
The tears from each of eyes actually drains into our nose through a thin tube called naso lacrymal duct which is situated on each side just near the inner angle of the eye. If this duct gets blocked due to some reason, the tears can no longer smoothly drain and your eyes water continuously. Gentle stroking from inner angle of the eye downward upto the nares for a few times multiple times a day can help in relieving the block and can thereby help in resolving your problem.
Hope that helps.
