thank you for the reply...her symptoms have been on going for about 4 months now. They include pinching pain in her stomach after eating certain foods..bloating,flush feeling, burning in the stomach..the endoscopy was done because all other tests were negative..also fatigue and sometimes feeling sick to her stomach..allergy testing was also done...found slight peanut and sesame allergy..very low # she is trying to stick to a fob mat diet...no heart burn or peptic disorder..no pain or burning in chest or below the sternum...she also has hypermobility disorder as do I a few years back she also had a tape worm..don't know if that has anything to do with any of this. Also sometimes a feeling of her body turning off sometimes a feeling of almost passing out...visavegas...not too often though...

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Initially, you have mentioned that she had the following symptoms.

"They include pinching pain in her stomach after eating certain foods will cause bloating, flush feeling, burning in the stomach". Then you have mentioned that -.no heart burn or peptic disorder..no pain or burning in chest.

Kindly clarify if symptoms are there it could be gastritis or acid related problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

thank you...the doctors don't seem to think it is gastric or acid related..he wants her to try an antibiotic but she is hesitant because she is afraid it may do more damage to her stomach because there is no diagnosis...are there any other tests you can suggest for her or any other specialist she should see..it is difficult because the tests don't seem to show an underlining cause for the way she is feeling but there is something clearly wrong with her stomach..

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per me she is having gastritis. Its not necessary that gastritis is always reflected in endoscopy.

Right now I would suggest her to take Nexium twice a day with Domstal DT thrice daily and tell me how she feel after a week.

After a week I would suggest if further treatment is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello again and thank you...will this "heal" her stomach lining if her symptoms get better within a week ...will she then be able to begin eating normally again? Also if she is not comfortable taking Nexium can she use Zantac instead? Just looked uo side effects for Domstal and Domstal DT...very scary..Can this just be treated with Zantac?
