Brief Answer:
Tests of head-raising to determine

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Noted your history of mils pinching pains in the upper and middle abdomen for about a week now, which comes and goes sometimes, tightness in mid abdomen and can feel muscles inside- hence not sure whether this is due to strain of workout or something else. Rarely feeling nauseated too. Applying heating pad.

My advise:
Lie down flat in bed and try to lift only the head and leg part so that the abdominal muscles become taught, press on the abdominal muscles, if there is pain on this movement or on palpation, this probably is a strain.
If there is no tenderness, then probably this may be due to sub-clinical form of enteritis or due to some intra-abdominal condition.

Do you have any other symptoms related to bowel movements or urine?

I hope this answer helps you to differentiate between the abdominal problems or muscle problem.
If muscles problems, take rest from the workouts, any activity that causes the muscles to act vigorously should be avoided.
If there is an internal problem, further tests may be required and managed accordingly.
