Pink or XXXXXXX coloured stools almost always signifies fresh blood in stools. Fresh blood is often got when someone has hemorrhoids or a fissure.
I recommend that you approach a surgeon for a local examination

Upper Gastro intestinal bleed like a gastric ulcer leads to tarry stools whereas lower gastrointestinal bleeds leads to pink coloured stools
