What Causes Pinkish Soft Mass In Stool?

Just wanted to add that I have not eaten anything that it could be (eg, a strawberry that didn't get digested), and it only appears occasionally in the stool.
Sorry--should have clarified the mass appears in my stool. It is also rounded and smooth on the surface; the interior white core is fairly amorphous and smooth.
No abdominal pain, no health issues other than controlled type 2 diabetes and controlled HTN. Thyroid normal (2 weeks ago). Meds include metformin, calcium, multivitamin, laxatives (Colace, PHillips Mg tabs), all lipids normal, lisinopril-HCTZ 10-12.5 mg, 81 mg aspirin, atorvastatin 40 mg.
One more thing: I've seen this mass only about 3 times in my stool over the last month.
General stool consistency.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic. Dr. Ganesh
1.The most possible cause - It could be general stool consistency which you feel in that way.
2.Next possible cause could be some parasitic infection which seen in that way - but no symptoms to suggest.
3. Some times vitamin tablets can give colour to stools - but not mass effect.
4.In this case the best way out will be stool examination - that will exactly analyse presence of any blood or inflammatory / infective changes / parasites.
5.First thing as a remedy - come to basic diet like more of salads, fruits, fibrous diet for better bowel moment, Avoid junk, spicy, fat congaing food for a while and see if the stools consistency altered.
6.If any symptoms or repeat mass in the stool - try to get the stool sample and get examined - and get treated accordingly.
Good luck.
