Question : Hi doctor my twins will complete 9 month this 16 ..their weight is 6.5 kg birth weight was 1.4 and 1.6 ..is this normal ..is there any kind of weight gaining medicine..also they are on fm and semi solid food
Brief Answer:
Yes, it is proper.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query. The birth weight is supposed to double by 5 months of age and triple by 10-12 months of age. So, the weight gain for both your child is absolutely fine and you need not worry about the same. You need to continue the semisolid diet.
Let me know if I could help further.

Also how do I build up their immunity as they are not on bf..they both fall I'll very frequently..I am littleworried for their health..my daughter has fever since yest evening it is XXXXXXX 100degree I gave her imol it cools down for some time n then again goes up...
Brief Answer:
Give colourful fruits and vegetables
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
I understand your apprehension. Give him colorful fruits and vegetables regularly. They contain vitamins, minerals and plenty of antioxidants which should help in boosting the immunity of your child. Give her imol when needed. If it is not effective in bringing down the temperature, you need to use Meftal-P (mefenamic acid) which is more effective. The minimum gap between two doses of imol is 4-6 hours. The doses of Imol and Meftal P are independent of each other.
Please be patient.
