Question : I have had multiple abdominal surgeries (fyi). A few months ago I felt a "pop" sensation in my lower abdomen area, and hence; have pain when standing or walking any length of time. Also, pain on lifting anything of much weight. Had US which showd hyper echoic in area of previous surgery. Could I have a hernia?

Brief Answer:
Hernia or a blood clot.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

The hyper-echoic are in the previous surgery on US can be either Hernia or a blood clot.

If there is a swelling which increases/bulges on coughing (impulse on coughing) and is reducible, it is hernia.
If this does not show these characters it may be obstructed hernia or a blood clot.
I hope this answer helps you.
