Question : I had a female worker around age 32 who had felt pain in her ear and a loud pop as if someone dropped something and it made a real loud noise. She then felt dizzy and immediately got hot. I used an ice pack after having her sit down. Not sure

All these symptoms indicate immediate clinical check-up and an Inner Ear examination under direct vision by ENT specialist (to rule any damage to tympanic membrane in the first place)..

Please take her to your nearest ER for a prompt check-up and monitoring of her vital parameters, where they'll be investigating for the inner Ear also..management will be done accordingly..

Please remain her seated in the meanwhile, of course no work till declared physically fit, don't let anything to put inside the ear till properly examined..
