Question : wHEN i SWALLOW 5 OUT OF 10 TIMES i HAVE A POPPING NOISE IN MY EAR. i SAW A SPECIALIST AND HE SAID IT WAS O.K - BUT IT IS VERY IRRITATING - i HAD A SEVERE COLD PRIOR TO THIS CONDITION - SHOULD i GET A 2ND OPINION OR IS THERE A TREATMENT - i HOPE YOU CAN HELP

Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible sinusitis.
In view of the cold that possibility is strong.
I suggest starting steam inhalation 4- 6 times per day.
get a X ray pns water view. If the X rag shows XXXXXXX sinusitis, antibiotics and nasal drops may them bd initiated.
