Question : Received my second 3 month shot of Lupron 2 days ago for prostate cancer. Tonight, at dinner, I broke into a profuse cold sweat which lasted 15-20 minutes. Yesterday, I was in lesser cold sweats, off and on, while working in the garden... yes, it was quite humid but this was a different feeling than normal sweating. One of my workers even noticed it and was wondering if I felt ok. Before dinner tonight my sinuses started making me sneeze and become stuffy. I was with my urologist 2 days ago but I forgot to tell him about cold sweats. In fact, I told him that I hardly sweat anymore and when I do, I no longer have a sweaty smell???

Since I need a right knee replacement, jogging and yoga are taking back seats. I try walking and also doing some work on my properties, but the pain can be rather substantial at times. Of course, a loss of 60 pounds would be quite helpful. Easier said while taking these shots. XXXX
Brief Answer:
Making changes to your diet
Detailed Answer:
Hi
You can reduce cold sweat by making changes to your diet to avoid consuming foods before bedtime that can trigger cold sweats.
If you have low blood sugar, make sure that you do not skip meals or spread your meals and snacks out throughout the day.
Limit your intake of high sugar foods before bedtime as well.
While walking if you feel any pain then you can take tablet paracetamol 500 mg twice daily after food
