default
Posted on Fri, 23 Dec 2016
Question: Hi, I have multiple myeloma. I have started having sweating mainly from the waist up, I go from hot to cold as the perspiration evaporates. I have had the diagnosis of multiple myeloma for 3 1/2 years. The sweating is a new wrinkle. I have been on revlimid since diagnosis. My oncologist hasn't heard of anything like this. It is a pain. In the night I have to get up and change nightgowns, and during the day change my shirts. I make sure to where cotton shirts.. Have you heard of anything like this?

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. You require evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So the causes in your case can be varied like myeloma progression, any coincident fungal infection, concomitant tuberculosis infection, diabetes complications etc. Your physician needs to rule out all these conditions.
Please tell whether you have any weight loss, loss of appetite, cough, fever etc.
Please revert back.
Thanks and regards
