Question : dear sir/madam,
I am using x gain minoxidil 10% since 3 weeks as prescribed but I am facing still more hair fall than before. is it because of minoxidil . will it stop or not. daily early morning I am seeing my hair's on my pillow. I am using 1 ml morning and 1 ml in night. kindly suggest the best

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist).
Some people do notice increased hair shedding early on with minoxidil. However, this resolves with continued application.
The reason this happens is because the new hair growth that is stimulated (anagen hair/anagen surge) pushes out old resting hair (telogen hair) out of the hair follicle. This old, resting hair was anyways going to be shed and minoxidil is just making it shed earlier. Thus is actually a good sign that minoxidil is working therefore i suggest you to continue with it.

Response is usually noticeable by 3-6 months into treatment however it may take 1-2 years of continuous treatment for a satisfactory response. You may also take Tablet. Androanagen in addition to minoxidil application and biotin tablet.
