Pain only correlated with menstruation is likely a gynecological issue. COnstipation may be the collateral in such cases. If the sonograms has not picked up any thing then i doubt it to be endometriosis.
If your pain is associated with psychological behavior, mood swings or any other symptom then it may be considered a PMS. Pre menstrual syndrome presents this way. People in PMS have dietary perversions and crave for chocolates and sweets and salty things. Acne, Back pain, headache, breast tenderness may also be the symptoms. Age group of 40 plus is more likely to get PMS.
