What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding After Taking Primolut N?

No need to consult a doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
I have read you query and I understand your concerns about excessive bleeding after primolut N.
Following is my reply:
1) This problem is because your body has adequate amount of estrogen and progesterone hormones in the body and the primolut you are taking are not required and are excessive.
2) Next time onwards please avoid taking any hormones and wait for periods to occur naturally.
3) This is not a serious problem and there is no need to see a doctor.
4) If such bleeding recurs, you can see your doctor to get an ultrasound scan.
I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.
Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.
Regards,
Dr. Soumya

The bleeding was there for more than a month and i see big blood clots. Is that normal?
Not to worry if no bleeding at present
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Bleeding for more than one month is not a good development. But if it has happened only this time and stopped now, you dont need to worry about it. You can ignore if there is no bleeding or clots now.
You see a doctor if bleeding persists now or if it recurs again.
I hope your doubt is cleared now.
