Question : On Nov 29th I was supposed to have an ovary removed, she only removed a cyst. Dec 21st had an abscessed cyst and ended up having both ovaries and fallopian tubes removed. Now I am bleeding and cramping. Is that normal? my doctor said i would be thrown into menopause yet I'm having what seems to be a period 3 months post op

Hello,

After the removal of ovaries you will now have menopausal changes. The bleeding that you are having is a sign of hormonal disturbance and if the bleeding is persistent then it needs a detailed investigation to find the cause. Such bleeding usually stops after a week or so. You can consult your gynecologist and get hormonal pills prescribed that can help to stop the bleeding in case the bleeding is excessive.
