Question : I recently got blood work done to check for std,hiv,etc. I have been clean and sober for a year but was a hero in addict for 15yrs. I have been getting bumps on my penis that are hard and feel as though they are under the skin,they are not soars or blisters and don't have any head or puss,I didn't test positive for any std's and at the time of my visit they had mostly gone away but they have now returned,this has been going on for 2hrs,they will go away and come back,obviously this is concerning and embarrassing and my doctor basically dismissed it,any idea what it could be

I read your question and i understand your concern. With heroin addiction in past for 15 years, one suspect of STDs and HIV but as those tests are clear that is why your doctor did not seem concerned. As the only thing left to explain these self resolving bumps is fordyce spots, which are clogged sebaceous pores. All you need to do is modify hygiene, adapt good coital and toilet habits, keep the groin hair free, don't masturbate and don't let it sweat down there by wearing loose cotton undergarments. Don't pop, poke or pick these bumps.
