Question : I have had a pus filled lump under my tongue since I was a teenager. I'm now 28, and have had it over 13 years.. it doesn't effect me in any way.. and I can squeeze the pus out rather easy.. but it just fills back up within a day or two.. what could this be?

Brief Answer:
clogged sublingual gland

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
This is caused by clogged sublingual glands and this is not worrying unless become inflammed. In some people it may persist lifetime without causing problems. It can be permanently managed by minor surgical procedure done by ENT doctor so you should consult him about it. It is advisable to remove it sooner or later since in case of severe inflammation it may lead to some complications.
