Brief Answer:
You need an ent examination

Detailed Answer:
welcome to health care magic,
if you feel something in your throat near the XXXXXXX apple, I will need to rule out food particles being struck in the narrowest part of the throat. I will suggest to drink lots of water and gulping at a single gulp and see if it gets better.

Besides, I will also recommend visiting an ENT surgeon to examine the area. He/she may perform a video endoscope to confirm the possibility and to remove food particles if any.

Hope this explains in detail
with regards
Dr.Amarnath
