What Causes Radiating Pain In Groin Area, Knees And Right Leg?

Question: I have a pain in my right leg. It seems to emanate in the groin area and migrate to the knee. At other times the pain is more concentrated in the buttock area. I have not fallen or injured myself in any other way.

Hello, I have studied your case.Pain from hip to knee joint can be due to nerve compression. It can also be due to hip synovitis or muscle pull. Before I advised you any thing I would like to know little detail of the illness.
1. Since when you are having these symptoms?
2 .Do you have any history of fall or muscle pull?
3. Do you have difficulty in sitting cross leg?

2. No falls of injuries of any kind
3. I have no difficulty doing this but I try to catch myself and not do it.

It is due to nerve compression in spine

Hello,
I have studied your case. I think you are having a condition which is called Prolapse disc. There is nerve compression in spine leading to pain in whole leg. Pain is more specially on walking or prolong standing. Since nerve supplied from thigh to knee so pain is there in whole limb. I have following advised for you.
1. Hot water fomentation
2.Tablet Pregabalin M at night time.
3.Avoid forward bending and lifting weight. Also do not do jerky activities. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
