Question : I was lying down to take a nap and felt a weird wave of pressure through my head. I did a FAST test and that was fine but ny head feels a little "off" and i have pain in spots on my left hand. First some shooting pain in thr palm and now morr joint pain and pain in the back of the hand. Finally the left side of my head is developing a pain (this just started an hour after the original sensation). Thoughts?

                                    Brief Answer:
It can be an anxiwty attack or pain due to nerve compression
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I have studied your case. Pain in head with radiating in hand can be due to nerve compression in spine . It can be just an anxiety attack also. I have following suggestions.
1. Change your position and try to sleep without a pillow.
2. Tablet Brufen for pain relief.
3. Tablet xanax for anxiety.
4. If this pain relieves then it it ok. if persist then get x ray of neck and see if you re having cervical spondylitis. Also get an ECG.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
