Brief Answer:
sounds like infection actually

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible fungal infection affecting the hairline.
I would agree with you that this may have been due to antibiotics. However, in the reaction, it should have been generalized and not restricted to the hair.
I think I would suggest that you meet a dermatologist. It may need a antifungal shampoo for treatment.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
