Question : Hi, Im XXXXXXX (you're Grief, lol)….anyway I'm very athletic and work out. I noticed a few days ago first a pimple on my stomach. That went away, but now (not sure two are connected) then last night i got a red rash (kind of circular from my belly button to my waist. it doesn't itch but get itchy in the shower. I have had psoriasis in the past but not lately. what do you think? I just put benadryl cream on it.

Hi XXXXXXX ,

I went through the query and understood your concern.

The current lesion of size from umbilicus to waist line is large. It will be better if you can upload a photo of it.

Since acute onset the lesion may be due to allergy or even any infection. Since circular, red and itchy in moist condition the chance of being fungal infection is also there.

For now keep the area dry and clean. Continue application of same cream, this will take care of allergic reaction and also inflammatory reactions. If fungal infection you need to apply antifungal cream which will completely cure.

The chance of psoriasis recurrence is also there. I give it 3rd possibility.
