What Causes Rash On Groin Area?

1. What kind of rash is it?
2. How can it happen?
3. Is it some kind of STD?
4. How to treat it?
I had sexual encounters with CSWs 4 months and 8 months before. I tested HIV antibody test last week and report was negative. (Report attached).
Is it final result? Shall I consider it conclusive?
For how long have you had these rashes?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this rash that you have reported. I will like to know if there is any fluid inside these rashes or not.
Given the multiple history with commercial sex workers, there is a possibility that you can have one of the sexually transmitted infections. If this rash has been present for more than a week and there is no fluid collect inside, this may be suggestive of warts caused by hpv. If that is not the case, then it may rather be a non specific rash caused by bacterial or fungal infection.
For now, I recommend that you cleanse at least twice daily with Iodine, Dry light to keep the airy dry, clean and free from moisture which may rather aggravate the rashes and delay healing.
Let me here from you on the above questions before providing more specifics and recommendations on what to do. This is clearly not related to HIV in any way and this is supported by the negative HIV test result you have uploaded.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Look forward to talking more with you!

This rashes appeared from 5 days before. Atleast I noticed it from that time. These are itchy. There is no fluid inside. Just if the top skin goes off, it seems bit wet that time.
I am living in Kazakhstan, where all necessary medicines not easily available. I have cotrimazole powder which I am applying. After that it seems resolving little bit. Atleast the itchyness gone and skin becoming dry.
My last sexual encounter was 4 months back and it was protected with open mouth kissing. Can HPV appear after such a long time?
HPV usually takes even longer!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up.
With this more information, my thinking is more towards a possible fungal infection than HPV. Continue with the clotrimazole cream and update me in 5days about the progress. If we are not making significant progress, the we would weigh in other options.
Do not forget to dress light so as to keep this area dry, airy and avoid humidity that would rather delay healing.
I wish you well and hope to her from you.
