Would getting the "shingles vaccine" at this time be an effective treatment?
Brief Answer:
Not given usually with active rash.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
Zoster vaccine is usually not given during presence of rash.It is given after disappearance of rash.
These can be given even in those with prior zoster history.
