Question : Hi, yesterday morning I noticed a rash on both sides of my inner arms; in between my forearms and upper arms. They don't itch. I did get a massage the other day which that same location where the rash is rested on the massage bed but I'm not sure if that's what caused it. What do you recommend I do and is this cause for alarm ? Please see attached pictures
Brief Answer:
Contact dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist).
I have gone through your query and I have viewed the images.
I can see a blotchy red rash on inner arm. Seems like Contact Dermatitis.
I suggest you to use a moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g either mometasone futoate 0.1% cream or betamethasone valerate 0.1% cream or triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream, twice daily.
Regards
