What Causes Rashes On The Penis?

default
Posted on Mon, 24 Oct 2016
Question: hi there ive added some photos of these spots on my penis. ive been to 2 doctors and both say that these spots or rashes look like some sort of contact dermatitis and nothing std related. i guess im just looking for another opinion. they have never blistered and they are not sore, the only time they have been sore or itchy is when i was washing them a bit to harshly in the shower.
i have been using a cortisone cream for the past 2 days and the redness and inflammation has gone down.
thanks

Brief Answer:
Doesnt look like STD

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
This definitely doesn't looks like STD and usually we see this after unnoticed scratch, allergy reaction to latex, underwear or certain shampoos. So you should just continue with mild steroid ointments and keep area clean and dry. It should subside with 1-2 weeeks. Wish you good health. Regards
