What Causes Reactive Thrombocytosis?

default
Posted on Tue, 19 May 2015
Question: My mother-in-law is curious about her idiopathic thromocythemia. She was diagnosed two years ago. Specifically she is concerned that there has been no known cause for the fluctuation in her blood platelets levels.

Why do the blood platelet levels keep fluctuating the way they do?
