Question: yes i have a question for the past four days i am doing a "cleanse" only lemon water and coffee (willing to give up food but not coffee) anyway havent had bowel movement since first day..go figure no food but since last night my anus is discharging dark red blood. which i find strange because its not associated with having a bowel movement. and yeah anus does now burn and sting a little. history--im female, 50 years old and 50 pounds overweight. should i see a doctor or let it 'ride' for a few days?

With the history you have provided, there has to be a reason for the symptoms you have developed and should be examined by a General Surgeon, per-rectal digital examination, proctoscopy and plan a colonoscopy too.
