Question : Have a few days when I feel pretty good. Then I crash and feel like I have the flu, chills, burns up, sometimes a temp registers, some times not. Have no energy at all. Can not be in sun at all. My bad spells last from 3- 7 days.

In my opinion the symptoms seem to be related to upper respiratory tract infection.

Some advice that I can give to you are :
- Use anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for the fever
- Take vitamin C supplements to boost the immune system
- Drink liquids
- Rest

If the symptoms continue I suggest you to do a complete blood count and a chest x ray for further evaluation and treatment.
