Today 5th XXXXXXX I have got small pustules beginning on my chin which I fear will outbreak again . Can I take Augmentin 625 again for three days? I want to take low doses of antibiotics coz i have been taking then a lot since last few years.. OR should i again take Cefuroxime axetil for 10 days? My condition is not worse right now.

Brief Answer:
It is not good to take antibiotics every month.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query,

I would not advice you to take antibiotics every month as there are chances of the bacteria to become resistant to the antibiotic.

I would suggest you to discuss with your dermatologist for other ways of prevention and control.

I hope this answered your query.
