Posted on Wed, 24 Jun 2015
Question: I have these rashes that come and go. I was told it was some kinda skin disease that could have came from something like ringworms and wasnt treated in time and spread through my system. I was told to get Lamotrin some kinda skin fungas cream. But the rash literally seems to run away from it and go somehwere else. Now i have it all over. It will go away and come back. When i do something like work out; my back, shoulders and chest have a needle type itchy feeling. Like ive been rolling in wet grass. Help? I attached pictures

Hello
Looking at your photographs and descriptions, It seems like a fungal infection like teaniasis or ringworm

Here I would like further information to help you better
Since hoe long it has been there
what all sites involved
Do you feel like itching while at rest?

In my opinion you may require a course of antifungal treatment like Fluconazole or itraconazole group of drugs under supervision of your doctor

Maintain good hygiene
change your undergarments regularly and wash or properly
You can apply Miconazole powder before going for work out.

Brief Answer:
Take a course of antifungal for 3 to 6 months

Detailed Answer:
Hello

You need not to worry, you will be alright very soon. From your description and the pictures it seems more like a fungal infection - Tenia / ring worm. However a clinical examination under broad day light will be worthwhile to rule out other possibilities. A skin biopsy may be performed if diagnosis is not achieved by physical examination.

If you aren't able to visit a dermatologist immediately, I would start you with antifungal drugs like Fluconazole. You can get this prescribed from your local healthcare provider. It takes 3 to 6 months to treat a skin fungal infection. You can try this remedy for 3 months before visiting a dermatologist.

Hope this helps you
Best wishes
