Question : Hi There,
I have a low grade (100degree) fever, nausea and headache. If I try to eat, it comes back up. After a couple of days it will go away. I feel great for a week to 10 days and out of nowhere it comes back. This has happened about 4-5 times in the last couple of months. Any idea? Stool is fine

Brief Answer:
How long does this fever last?

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

This periodic fever raises concerns as to whether it is for true an issue or not. I will like to know how many readings are consistently more than 100. In the strictest sense, 100 is so borderline that unless there are other concerning symptoms, I will not be so worried.

In all, how long it stays around and what symptoms accompany it. At this time, there is no real threat to your life and there is no emergency for any interventions. Observing more is the right approach.

Hope I have answered your query.
