If I let it dangle down and stand up I can feel the circulation coming back..but when I bend it to use it - it starts again...I need to lose weight ...5'8" and 240#; breast implants from 40 yr ago - 66 yr old . Not as bad during the day.....right now it is hard to text this w/right hand....using the left , then that one begins to have that tingling numbing sensation too. I do not take any meds except 2 Aleve in the a.m. Due to a hip replacement two years ago. Do not smoke nor drink. Did so moderately when younger .

Brief Answer:
Possibility of nerve compression is more.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.

Your symptoms are classical of nerve compression either at thoracic outlet level or at cervical spine level.

So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done MRI of cervical spine and thorax to rule out nerve compression.

Another reason is vitamin B12 deficiency. So also get done vitamin b 12 level.

If all these are normal then weight reduction is a must.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
