What Causes Recurrent Vomiting Despite Taking Medication?

Question: Suffered from fever from September 15, 2014 to October 2015. The doctor gave medicines for fever during this period. From October 2, 2014 vomiting started and it continued till November 10, 2014. She was not able to eat or drink during this period at all. Various tests done, but no diagnosis. She was given food through a pipe from nose.
Again suffered from fever on August 20, 2015 and was given medicines from fever. Vomiting started from August 23, 2015 and is not able to eat or drink. Can u suggest the possible solution for the same.

Hi,
recurrent vomiting ,try to consult your doctor and ask for vitamin b12 levels ,sr parathyroid levels and serum calcium levels.
Before these tests if endoscopy was not done then get a endoscopy to look out any organic cause.

In XXXXXXX i shown her in reputed hospitals like Fortis; Max; ILBS etc. They have done all the possible tests. At last doctors have some type of steroids for arond 8 days and the problem sunsidesd for around year. All the doctors told that this is one its kind problem. So I wanted to check if any patient has similar problem and what was the solution for it.

When everything has been done and still symptoms are persisting it may be a cyclical vomiting syndrome .
Better show to a neurologist once for the same ,I hope he may help you for this

She has also been treated by a neurologist from XXXXXXX hospital and an MRI scan of brain was done. The report was normal.

It needs lot of counselling and psychotherapy with some drug therapy..
According to me just show to a good neurologist and take further management .
