Question : my daughter just told me that she has been vomiting since July of 2014. It's not e-coli. She was tested for that. I am not sure what other tests she has taken. It's not the gestural issues. But I am not sure what else. I am wondering if there is not another parasite that could be causing it. Marijuana lets her eat, but not much. She vomits most of the time.

Hi Mam,

The recurrent vomiting in your daughter's case has to thoroughly evaluated before considering it be functional or parasite associated.

I advise you to have a
1.baseline total abdominal scan/TAS
2. complete stool examination.
3.An upper gastrointestinal tract endoscopy/UGIE.

These tests can very accurately detect the any abdominal pathology thats responsible for frequent vomiting.

Further treatment aspect largely depends on the outcome of these results.
