Question : I have body aches, off and on fever and sore throat for 2 days. Thought I was getting the flu. Now I am getting red blisters on my feet and hands that are extremely painful. I wonder if I should go to urgent care or would it be ok to see my physician on Monday?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. This is suggestive of hand foot and mouth disease which is caused by a virus. treatment consists in providing pain medications and managing any other associated symptoms, Tylenol is always a good choice here. eating health, fruits and vegetables and much water intake is often sufficient to mange the disease. However, it may progress to severe blisters that may need more careful wound care. I will like to see and image for better review and recommendations.
