What Causes Recurring Fever, Chills And Joints Pain Every Evening?

Question : I am a woman 34 yrs. I have fever with chills & joint pain that returns every eve for past 13 days. Test for malaria,typhoid, xray chest -ve. Cefixime done.help

Azithromycin & cefixime + K clauvulanate, dr. reddy's Econorm course for 3 days completed. But chills & fever returns in eve everyday with pain in knees & elbow, headache and pain behind eyes. After taking medicine loose motion for 3 times and mild abdominal pain. Appetite is good. No cough. Please advice.

The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of 2 possible causes
1. a possible rheumatology condition. considering the joint involvement with fever a rheumatology specialist should be consulted to rule out rheumatic fever.
2. a possible tuberculosis should be ruled out as it causes evening fever and joint pain may be a secondary reaction to fever.
I think it would be better to have further tests like ESR, rheumatoid factor , echocardiography etc.
The treatment will depend on the reports.
