Question: Sir, i often feel a lump under skull back side of head which comes and goes away of its own in 1 or 2 days. It is a persistent problem for last 5-6 months.Now lump or bump whatever it is comes on any side of head which goes away after having massage.Earlier i didn't feel any pain but now its paining. I have a history of hypothyroidism and i have swelling on both sides of neck just above collarbone.

I went through your post with diligence. You seem to have transient recurring lumps behind the skull and neck. Based on your description, this doesn't seem to be worrisome. More likely those could be benign lymph node. It doesn't need serious medical attention.

You may consider further evaluation like an ultrasound scan of the neck as well as nape if those lump recurs and persists.
