Question : I am still having upper right pain.. It was comes and goes. Now it is pretty much all the time. The pain in like my rib area. When I lay on my right side the pain is really bad. It goes into back. And now my lower stomach gets a numb stingy feeling too. It hurts just about in every position I lay down on. It hurts when I sit up as well. This has be baffled. I have been having pain and cramps when I have a bowel movement.

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM.
Based on the facts of last updates, though I don't have more details the suggested options might help you deal with your right upper quadrant pain-health issue.

Do's Suggested-
Following are the suggested steps to control and come out of the worsening abdominal pain-
Be on liquid / Bland diet-3 day
Be on BRAT diet-for 3 days
Skimmed Butter Milk x 2 times a day
Yoghurt helpings from 3 rd day
Tab-Dicyclomine(generic) 1 x 2-3 times a day x 5 days
Tab Antibiotic-Ciplox +metrogyl- x 5 days
Sporlac Cap-1 x 2 times x 2 weeks.
Consult the family doctor and get stool test-Ova/Cyst.
Get Deworming done -if needed.
Tab Multivitamin/ Vit D3/ Vit B12/Calcium,magnesium,zinc, to stabilize colonic recovery.

Alerts-
To avoid recurrent attacks,rule out other cause of IBS,which would need investigations from GI doctor/ and Surgeon- if need be

Next appointment-
Any time In case of any further emergency /
or after 2 week time,by that time you would come out with results of this treatment and thereafter,would be reviewed for further plan of treatment, if need be.
