Question : I have a sharp pain that comes to my left side of my abodomen it comes and goes and is a 10 pain on the scale of 1 to 10 .....and it started yesterday at 4am in morning .... Today I thought it was gone and it is not gone..... Also is not far away from my navel if this helps

Hi,Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM.
Read and reviewed the facts of your query and feel concerned about your sharp left abdominal pain with loose stool -of 48 hrs duration only.

Do's suggested-
Based on facts of your medication history and facts of your query, You need to do as follows-
Bland Diet with liquid contents x 2 days
Butter Milk x 2 times a day
Tab Imodium-1 x 2 times a day x 2 days
Tab CIPROFLOXACIN 500 MG 2 times a day x 5 days

Diagnosis-

This would help you to control the disturbed bowel from- Entero-Colitis, mostly from outside food eating lately.

If no relief in 5 days time go for Stool Examination and Gp doctor / or PCP opinion followed by CBC, LFT, Amylase, Lipase and Ultrasonography of whole abdomen.

Hope this would help you to tide over the acute problem which you have.
