Brief Answer:
due to vascular problem or neuropathy. needs exami

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the query and understood your concern.

Ulcer or blood spots can occur due to neuropathy or due to vascular problem. Both may occur due to diabetes and diabetes prevents the healing of ulcer.

Since the lesion is on the side of his foot and is recurring the chance due to vascular problem is more than neuropathy. The lesions may occur due to varicose veins or even deep vein thrombosis. In neuropathy the lesion usually develops on the pressure points.

But what ever the cause, for healing strict sugar control and local hygiene and local care should be maintained. Local foot examination is required to check for blood supply, the lesion, neuropathy and also for planning for its management.

For now adhere to your drugs and consult your doctor once for examination and management.

I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask for any further queries. I will be glad to answer them.

Wish you faster recovery and good health.
Regards
