Brief Answer: Get Investigated Detailed Answer: Dear Friend. I appreciate your detailed reply. See two possibilities are there: 1. You are getting re infection, means co incidentally 2 infections in 1 month. This is a possibility since there is a long gap between your first and last episode. 2. A chronic disease - This is less likely as you didn't have fever for long. Since you work in smoky environment and also you are exposed to chemicals, this can cause Occupational Lung Diseases. In your case it can a mild form of that in form of Allergic Bronchitis. I would suggest you to get following investigations: 1. Hemogram with ESR 2. Liver and Kidney Function Tests 3. Chest Xray 4. Sputum for gram stain and cultur-sensitivity. I also advise you to take an anti allergic like Levocetrizine 5mg once a day for 3-5 days. Continue the antibiotics as suggested by your doctor. This is my best opinion for you. Ask me if you have any further query.
