I can understand your concern for the red itchy rash on my arms, face and chest.
After analyzing your query with best diligence I can make out that you might have developed viral exanthem (Rash). This is supported by the distribution of pattern of rash on arms, face and chest as well as the related symptoms of joint pain and cold.
In view to diagnose the exact entity of the viral rash I request you to kindly upload few good resolution pictures of the affected area focusing the areas of concern. For the same you have a feature on the right side of the page. Kindly mention each area so that accordingly I can guide you best.
Additionally tell me if you have fever or since exactly how many days the complete illness is present. Since how long is the fever and on what day of fever (or day of illness) you developed the rash.
For the interim of the relief in my patients I prefer to give an antipyertic such as paracetamol for two times daily after meals. For itching I prefer to use an antihistamine such as loratadine (Claritin) for two to three times daily. Take bed rest for a day or two for early recovery.
