Question : Hey I usually shave my pubic area and had no problems but I recently had sex unprotected and I have just realised that around the opening not near the bagina but I have spotted red bumps can you tell me the cause of this. Is my skin irritated or have i caught something!?!

I have reviewed the attached image. This is most likely suggestive of irritated skin from the shaving razor. Please, be advised protected intercourse as it's always the safe choice. Not only it protects against infections but against unwanted pregnancy. I highly recommend this: consistently and correctly.

To address the irritated skin, clean daily with lukewarm water and mild soap, at least twice. Avoid constantly picking on it as this can delay healing and cause further infectious complications.

This has gotten very itchy are you sure it is nothing serious and what do i need to do to help it
