Question : I have a scaly red switch skin around my eyes not in the eye but on the skin surrounding the eye i have tried everything slaves creams etc is this eczema?

I would like to know if there any redness, itching, dandruff-like scales on the eyelashes.
Your dry skin could also be a sign of an underlying skin condition such as blepharitis. This need to be ruled out.

Presently I would suggest you wash the area with mild soap like baby soap. Apply a warm wet compress to the lids, such as a washcloth with hot water, for 5 to 10 minutes two to four times a day. Using a clean washcloth for each cleansing is important. Apply calamine lotion with alovera to the affected area, avoid application on the eye. Avoid cosmetics for few days. Kindly follow this measures you will be fine by week.

If it persists, then you need to see opthalmologist for examination, if the blepharitis if confirmed, then you may require topical antibiotic.
