Brief Answer:
Overreaction of dry skin.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and reviewed the photos you attached.

- What I see looks like overreaction of dry skin.
- I will advice to not do frequent and very hot showers.
- Apply a moisturizing cream in your skin after the bath/shower.
- For few days you can apply a steroid cream until the inflammation of the skin settles down- Hydrocortisone 1% twice/day for 5-7 days.
- Take an antihistamine orally so you will have less itching- Loratadine 10mg of Cetirizine 10mg, once/day for some days too.

If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Recommended medicines are safe to be taken with warfarin

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up question.

If you are doing hot baths, or if you like your shower quite hot, then it can surely trigger this reaction and it is actually the most common cause to give this reaction.

The steroid I recommended is to be used locally and in thin layer, just in the lesions. It interacts with warfarin only if used orally, so no harm in this case.

The antihistamine that you should take orally does not interact with warfarin.

As I said, if worse or not better in few days, consider seeing a local dermatologist to perform physical exam and as needed tests.

Hope this makes sense and is helpful.
Let me know if you have other concerns.

Regards,
Dr.Papaqako
