Question : Hi i have red itchy swollen ears, sore throat, head ache, chesty cough and large itchy hives in my head and on my body my temp is up alittle but apart from all that iam still pottering around. I've been talking ibuprofen and parisetamol which do help the symptoms. should i go to the docs? Thanks

You have describe having an allergic reaction to something in your environment. This could be from any number of agents like cat dander, food allergy or tree pollens. This is not anything that is dangerous and before going to a doctor for treatment I would recommend that you try an OTC allergy medication like loratidine.

If your symptoms worsen with increasing rash, itching or difficulty breathing with wheezing then I recommend you seek medical attention as this could be signs of worsening allergic reaction.
