What Causes Red Lump On Bicep After Injury

This is probably blood collection underneath the skin.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this lump that your have reported. From the surrounding circumstances, this most likely represents a collection of blood which indicates that she bled after the fall. When blood gets coagulated, it often presents as blue/brownish/purplish etc. If this lump is not increasing in size and it is not painful, then observing is all i recommend for now. The body would slowly reabsorb the blood and the lump would give way.
If the lump hurts or it is increasing in size, then I will recommend that you get her to the nearest hospital for evaluation and management. This might be an indication to evacuate the clot and stop further bleeding.
In all, this is a collection of blood. If she has any symptom sod sever pain or increasing size of lump, take her to the hospital. Otherwise, let her stay back at home and all would be okay as the body reabsorbs the clot over time.
I hope this helps. I wish your mother well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
