Question : Hi,
I recently got some red spots in my arms, hands. under my chest, abdominal area, legs and feet. I treated it as scabies so I used lyclear, I used 5 tubes in 3 days and now the spots are still red, dry but won't disappear. This happened just a few days ago (3/4 days ago) What should I do?

Here is a picture of my arm. I feel like they are getting less red but it is taking long. I think i overused lyclear. I dont have any other synthoms. Should i use any other creams for dry skin?
Many thanks
Many thanks
Brief Answer:
it is not scabies
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for the picture. It is definitely not scabies. It seems like superficial folliculitis.
You need to take oral anti-histamines like Zyrtec 10mg at bedtime for a week or so. Then you must apply topical steroid ointment like Betamethasone thrice daily on all the affected areas for a week.
Take bath is mild lukewarm water, do not use soap for a week.
Do not use anything else, and STOP using Lyclear. It is not going to help you.
Get well soon.
