Dr. thanks a lot for your response. now its 3rd day i am using omeprazole and now feeling again much better.. and my right side lower rib pain is also significantly reduced. or i think very less. every time i am trying to reduce anxiety something different happened. today i found 3 llittle pin sized red spots on my chest . i am again in tention . i was checking on internet about that. is it possible these are due to omeprazole? i know doctor i am most disturbing patient u have ever. But please reply me

Thank you for sending the picture ,it was very clear.
Hope you are feeling better today.

I saw carefully the picture, I can see three pinpointed red spots.
It is possible that they might be caused from omeprazole.If they aren't itching or causing any discomfort ,you don't need to worry about it.
I suggest to continue taking Omperazole for 2 weeks.Most likely these spots will go away after you stop taking Omeprazole.

If they are causing any kind of discomfort and you can't deal with it then the only choice is to stop taking Omeprazole.
In this case you may start taking an antiacid again like Gaviscon with Domperidone.

dr. now again i have soft stool just after the dinner. its same like as i was 2 week before when i was using gaviscon. then you told me to stop gaviscon . Now tell me should i contineue omeprazole? its 4th day taking omeprazole. And now this soft stool is after 17 days. what i should do now?

Hello again!

Some times Omeprazole may cause diarrhea (loose stools) as a side effect.
This episode of soft stool that you had might be due to your irritable bowel syndrome or due to Omeprazole.
Only one episode of diarrhea isn't cause of concern.

If you don't experience frequent episodes of diarrhea or watery stools with significant abdominal pain ,you don't need to worry about it.
Keep using Omeprazole.
If you will have persistent diarrhea then you should stop Omeprazole and see what happen.

It can happen to have once in a while a bowel movement with soft stool.Don't need to get anxious about that.
More you get anxious and experience stress ,more obvious with be symptoms of acid reflux and irritable bowel syndrome.

Continue with Omeprazole , all the diet changes and lifestyle modifications we have talked about.
You will be fine.

I was feeling very much hungry at dinner time. But i could not finish my dinner and went for toilet. Every time such things happened and i will again start thinking. Ok will continue omeprazole .

Having once in a while episodes of diarrhea doesn't indicate a serious condition.
If your symptoms were related to a serious condition by now you also would have other signs and symptoms.Also you would have your symptoms all the time and no on and off.

Your medical history and symptoms are indicative for acid reflux and irritable bowel syndrome triggered from anxiety and stress.

Try not to let these symptoms get over you and cause you such anxiety.

ok i will continue . one more thing i want to discus . near about 2 years ago i visit one doctor for hair loss . some dermatologist. he give me on multivitamin tablet Centrum. I used this tablet from last 2 years. some time 3 times in a week and sometimes once in a day. but when this stomach problem start i stop this multivitamin. when i can start this one?

Since Centrum is a supplement that contains multivitamins and minerals ,it can cause stomach upset.
I would suggest to wait until your stomach is completely recovered to start this supplement again.
Finish the course of Omperazole and if you aren't experiencing any symptom of acid reflux or stomach upset ,you can start taking Centrum.

Hy doctor. hope u will b fine. its now one week i am using omeprazole. and from last 3 days i am not feeling this right rib pain. And most of the time i try to search this pain (by moving tiwisting) and i think now its finished or may b in my mind .sometimes i feel a little pain in my back on right side. i but dont think that is as much to discus because it looks like muscle pain. and after that soft stool which i already discus . Now from last 3 days i have not got that soft again. means not as much soft. i am trying to overcome anxiety but as you know everytime i experienced something that again put me at high level of anxiety. now the thing which i feel is a little decrease in appetite. i dont know why . sometimes i thought may b because i was on vacations.

Happy to hear that almost all your symptoms has subsided.
This also means that it was all about acid reflux and irritable bowel syndrome.

You don't need to worry about your decrease in appetite.This might be due to anxiety and stress ,or due to acid reflux.
The muscle twitching some times it is triggered by anxiety or by the lack of some nutrients in the diet,if you haven't eaten healthy lately.
Since you have this muscle twitching in all your body ,you don't need to worry .They seem to be benign twitching.

If these twitching persist for a long time and get worse ,you may consider consulting a physician and get examined.Right now you have nothing to worry about.

Continue Omeprazole for another week and follow the diet changes I have recommended and try to manage your anxiety in the future.
